Water - Water 2008

“All You Need Is Love” is a lovely line that Paul McCartney and his crew sang back in the late 60s. While I agree, love is a fine thing and certainly does a lot for one’s health and happiness, the one absolute necessity for a healthy and happy life is a clean water supply.

Almost 20 percent of the world’s population does not have access to clean, sanitary water. As such, people are forced either to buy bottled water – which comes at a financial and potential health price, as the reports on toxic levels of bisphenol A in bottles indicate – or drink unsanitary water, hoping its quality isn’t such that it causes adverse health effects.

Thanks to increasing supplies of water filtration systems over the past several years, drinking potentially dangerous water is something most of us don’t have to concern ourselves with. At the same time, though, while any water filtration system is better than none, there are variations in how well their filtering prowess is (e.g. Brita, perhaps the most well-known water filtration system, doesn’t filter out chemicals like benzene, atrazine and alachor. Further, Brita filters out only 75 percent of the chlorine found in water!).

It’s for this reason that the quality of filtration be the primary thing one takes into account before going out and purchasing one. Again, while any water filtration system is better than none, when it comes to water and the importance of it to one’s long term health, only the best will do.

That’s why I advocate Aquasana as the very best water filtration system on the market today. I have one installed in my home and being somewhat of a water connoisseur, I can say without a doubt that it’s the best tasting water I’ve ever had. Its exceptional quality is made manifest by its taste; I can literally taste the difference in the quality of the water when comparing it to others.

Not only does Aquasana eliminate nearly all of the aforementioned and unmentioned chemicals (no less than 97 percent), but its cost of use is significantly lower among other top selling water filtration systems (see the comparison chart here). While I traditionally favor spending more for quality as opposed to saving money for an insufficient product or unwholesome food, it just so happens that this product provides the highest quality product and at the most cost-efficient price!

The fact that the body is made up of 70 percent water should say everything one needs to know about how important water is to life and our longevity. But if that wasn’t enough, consider the fact that before pesticides and herbicides became commonplace, the rate of cancer diagnoses was about 1 in 50. Today, an age in which pesticide run-off and soil depletion are commonplace, one out of every three people will wind up being diagnosed with cancer. Some may say there’s no such link between water contamination and cancer rates; to me, that’s as felonious a notion as the sun rising in the west and setting in the east.

There are lots of things one can do to avoid long term health risks, but all those proactive measures are utterly meaningless without a quality supply of water. Aquasana epitomizes that quality.

I have no financial ties with Sun Water Systems, Inc. The link to their website below is NOT an affiliate link, which means I don't get paid for recommending their product. I'm doing so because it is my opinion that they currently offer the best water filtration system on the market. I personally have their deluxe system installed in my home.
