Your gallbladder plays a very important role in your digestive system. When the many different gallbladder diseases affect your gallbladder, this can be incredibly harmful for your overall health. Your gallbladder is responsible for exposing the bile and toxins that are ingested into your body through your diet on a daily basis. If your gallbladder is not functioning properly than there is no place for this built up bile to go and this can cause a number of serious symptoms.

Gallstones are the number one gallbladder condition that millions of people experience on a daily basis. Gallstones are no larger than a grain of sand but for someone with gallstones they feel much larger. Gallstones are generally build-ups of cholesterol and pigment stones, which are calcium salts. Although the cause of gallstones is generally unknown, there are many different surgical procedures and natural ways to pass them. There are several conditions that may make you at higher risk for gallstones and these conditions include cirrhosis of the liver and blood disorders.

When gallstones are present there is a good chance that you are also suffering from an inflamed gallbladder as well. Some symptoms of a gallbladder disorder include severe pain in the upper right abdomen, fever, nausea, vomiting, lower back pain and chest pain. This type of pain can last anywhere from a few short minutes to a few hours depending on the severity of your gallbladder condition. These are what you may call gallbladder attacks and they can occur on a daily basis or even several times a day and can be quite debilitating.

If left untreated, a gallbladder condition like this can be life threatening. Many times you will not be able to stand the pain long enough to leave it untreated. There are several natural alternatives to prescription medications that can help you ease the pain of a gallbladder condition and help you pass gallstones naturally with as little pain as possible.

  • Essential Fatty Acid complex is beneficial for this condition as it is required to repair and prevent the onset of gallstones. When taken as directed the results can help you pass your gallstones without pain.
  • Lecithin granules when taken 3 times daily can help you digest the fats that are included in your daily diet and prevent the malfunction of your bladder with overloads of bile intake.
  • Multienzyme complex is an essential supplement, which aids in the digestion process when too little bile is secreted from the gallbladder.
  • Vitamin A is a natural and essential vitamin that helps restore tissues where they have been damaged.
  • A deficiency of Vitamin C can result in gallstones. Taking 3,000 mg a day with bioflavonoids can prevent this.
  • If you have inflammation in the gallbladder you should sustain from eating solid foods for a few days. It is recommended to drink only water then add fresh juices for three days and slowly add solids back to your diet.
  • Fresh apple juice is good to consume because it softens the gallstones.
  • The herb alfalfa is recommended to cleanse the liver and supply vitamins and minerals that are needed. It should be taken 2 times a day for 2 days in 1,000 mg tablets or capsules with warm water to go with it.
You do not simply have to rely on expensive and dangerous prescription medications to help you deal with gallbladder conditions, however if the pain becomes too severe you may need to have your gallbladder removed and should visit a physician immediately for council.
