Chemical poisoning refers to any number of different toxins that can enter your body such as metals, poisonous chemicals such as disinfectants, heavy metals and pesticides just to name a few. Chemical poisoning threatens the immune system and can damage the liver or other internal organs. There are many different types of chemicals that can enter the body through many different avenues and when this happens to you it is important to know how to treat it as quickly as possible. Whether the chemicals are absorbed through the skin or digested by mouth, the same symptoms and affects will apply.

If you are consistently exposed to chemicals through your employment environments or use excessive chemicals through sprays, than you are likely to suffer from chronic chemical poisoning. Acute chemical poisoning is a bit more serious than chronic chemical poisoning as this is the result of accidental digestion of large amounts of chemicals. This can also be the result of taking medications improperly or excessively. There are many different natural remedies and health supplements, which should always be kept on hand for those working close with different types of chemicals or for the simple household emergency.

  • Free-form amino acid complex is perhaps one of the most essential and important of all the health supplements today because it helps promote and improve liver function. When you are experiencing any type of chemical poisoning you want to act immediately so that it does not affect your major organs and this supplement should be the first act of defense you take. It is recommended to be taken 2 times a day on an empty stomach.

  • The next supplement you will want to consider is Garlic. When taken as directed, garlic helps to detoxify the system and cleanse the body of any unwanted toxins. I recommend the brand Kyolic by Wakunaga of America.

  • Raw liver extract is another supplement that acts as a powerful agent to detoxify major chemicals from the body. If you experience severe chemical poisoning you may even find your doctor or physician will give you an injection.

  • Vitamin C is a more common supplement used for a number of different health problems and can also be used for chemical poisoning cases. When taken 5,000-20,000 mg per day, Vitamin C has the power to protect your body from harmful pollutants and cleanse it of any radicals.

  • A well-balanced diet high in fiber can aid in recovery and help cleanse your system. Some recommended foods include bananas, fish, dates, yogurt, spinach, lemons, beans and grapes.

  • You should avoid being around insecticides, pesticides and wear protective clothing if you are near or handling harmful chemicals.

These natural remedies are effective in helping the body detoxify itself of chemical poisoning. Chemical poisoning can severely harm your organs and do irreversible damage so take the proper precautions and treat chemical poisoning if and when it happens to you.
