Get Energized With These
Delicious and Healthful Organic Protein Bars

My mission as a consumer health advocate involves non-stop
research for natural ways to achieve optimal health and stay there.
The two most important components in doing so are regular exercise
and a healthy diet.
In fact, most of the conditions and aliments that people are
afflicted with today are the result of a lack of the above.
When it comes to eating, I’m always open to something that is not
only healthy, but tastes great as well. Recently, I came across
something that fit those criteria to the tee. In fact, I love these
treats so much that I am currently in the process of setting up an
interview with Jay Robb himself so I can pick his brain about how
exactly he created this palate-pleasing snack. |
Jay Robb calls this delicious, natural snack the JayBar. I tried to pick
one bar to talk about but it was too difficult because ALL four flavors
are exceptionally great in their own right.

First off, is the Yammit! Almond Energy Bar. This bar took over
10 years to create and it was well worth the wait. This bar is jam
packed with organic almonds, organic figs, organic dates, organic
raisins and organic agave syrup. |
| But I think what makes it even more delicious is the
Energy Nuggets, which are made from sweet potato pieces. What I love
most about the bar is what it doesn’t have. I’m referring to stuff
like dairy, gluten, wheat, glycerin, MSG, hydrogenated oils,
artificial sweeteners, acesulfame-K, aspartame, sucralose, casein,
or maltitol. If you saw what some of that stuff does to lab rats,
you’d be pretty frightened. |

Next up is the Fudge Brownie, which is the chocolate lover’s
delight. This bar is made up of organic almond butter, organic
agave syrup, whey protein isolate, whey protein crisps (whey
protein isolate, whey protein concentrate, tapioca starch,
calcium carbonate), hydrolyzed whey protein isolate, xylitol,
arabic gum, rice bran, cocoa, water, natural flavors, vanilla,
and sea salt. |
| The peanuts, traces of cashews (tree nuts), and
traces of almonds (tree nuts) are the hidden treasures in this
delightful snack. Halloween is right around the corner, if
you’re looking for a good scare; research the effects of MSG,
hydrogenated oils, transfats, artificial sweeteners, acesulfame-K,
aspartame, sucralose, splenda, casein, glycerine or maltitol.
You won’t find any of that garbage in this bar. |

Third on the list is the Peanut Butter. And even though I
said I couldn’t pick just one bar, if I had to, this would be
it. What can I say? I’m a sucker for natural peanut butter. |
| When you combine it with organic agave, peanuts,
organic crispy brown rice, natural flavoring, & vanilla, it
tastes that much better. I think I may have to go grab one now.
Again no sugar, corn syrup, casein, artificial sweeteners,
maltitol, acesulfame-K, evaporated cane juice, aspartame, or
sucralose in this goodie bar. |

Last but not least is the Cashew Coconut. This bar has a
unique taste, but still great nonetheless. Anything made up of
organic cashew butter, unsweetened organic coconut, water,
natural flavor, organic agave & organic brown rice crisps is
bound to have your taste buds yearning for more. |
| This bar does just that without gluten, wheat,
glycerin, MSG, hydrogenated oils, artificial sweeteners,
acesulfame-K, aspartame, sucralose, casein, or maltitol. |
The JayBars are a delicious way to stay on track in your quest to
achieve optimal health.
