There are certain types of fungi, which have the ability to
affect your skin and mucus membranes throughout the body. These
types of fungi are generally known as candida and tinea. They can
grow under your fingernails, toe nails, between your toes or even on
internal surfaces such as your colon or other organs. Fungal
infections are most common on areas of the skin that are for the
most part consistently moist and are constantly in contact with
another area of skin, a great example of this is between your toes.
It is important to note that moist, itchy and red patches of skin
anywhere on the body could be a sign of a particular fungus
infection. |

compromised immune system for any reason. The second most common fungal
infection is of course under the fingernails, toenails or between the toes. You

from the finger or toe. These are sure signs of a fungal infection and
should not be ignored.
